At Joslin’s we are very proud of our training atmosphere. You’ll find our students helpful and very willing to take the time to help you with a technique or share some extra details with you to help you with your training.

All classes are fun, exciting and most importantly run in a very safe training environment. It’s not like what you see the fighters on TV doing: Fighting with small gloves on and very little protection.

Nobody would do it if it training was like that!

Sparring is always optional.

If you feel ready to test your skills against a resisting opponent in a safe way while wearing head gear, shin pads and big gloves we’ll get you doing just that.  On the other hand if you’d rather just train to develop your skills, get into great shape and have a ton of fun that’s perfect as well.

A small percentage of people training in MMA at our school are pursuing amateur and professional careers in the sport. We can help you do that as well!

Do I Have to Be Tough or Strong?

You don’t have to be strong, overly athletic, or tough to successfully learn and benefit from MMA training.

In fact it’s often the smaller, weaker students that excel due to the fact that they must rely on technique and therefore really pay attention to perfecting their technical skills.
